Princeton Elm – 15 Gallon Container

The Princeton Elm (Ulmus americana 'Princeton') is a fast-growing, upright shade tree that brings back the classic American Elm look with modern disease resistance. This cultivar features a strong central leader, graceful arching branches, and a traditional vase-shaped canopy—making it ideal for streetscapes, large yards, and estate-style plantings.

Delivered in a 15-gallon container, the Princeton Elm is well-rooted and ready to plant, offering rapid growth and early canopy development. It’s one of the few true American Elms bred for high resistance to Dutch Elm Disease, making it both historically authentic and future-proof.

In summer, the rich green foliage provides dense shade. Come fall, the leaves turn a bright yellow, adding seasonal interest. This tree is highly adaptable, performing well in urban environments, poor soils, and areas with high heat and humidity.
